We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team for a high-priority 6-month contract. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects within a fast-paced environment, focusing on full stack development with Java and React.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver scalable solutions to support Finance and Tax teams globally.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand use cases and build end-to-end solutions.
• Forge strong cross-functional relationships with business partners across various teams.
• Provide post-launch support and enhance existing applications as needed.
• Utilize strong analytical skills to solve complex problems effectively.

Skills

• Proven experience in full stack development with strong expertise in Java and React.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with API design and implementation (gRPC, GraphQL, RESTful, SOAP).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with distributed data processing and data modeling concepts.
• Knowledge of Python and its application in software development.
• Prior experience supporting finance teams or working in fintech environments.
• Familiarity with ERP applications such as Oracle or Workday.
