We are seeking an experienced Sustainability Program Manager to lead initiatives focused on carbon measurement and decarbonization. This role offers the opportunity to drive impactful sustainability programs and collaborate with diverse teams in a fully remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement frameworks for comprehensive carbon accounting across the value chain.
- Establish processes for data collection and measurement of indirect emissions.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to gather and validate emissions data.
- Develop reporting mechanisms that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage supplier engagement programs to enhance data quality and transparency.
- Lead decarbonization initiatives, defining program roadmaps and success metrics.
- Communicate progress and results to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Influence organizational practices to promote sustainability and environmental responsibility.
Skills
- 8-12 years of relevant experience in sustainability or environmental management.
- Expertise in carbon accounting and knowledge of GHG Protocol and Scope 3 emissions.
- Strong program management skills with a track record of delivering complex initiatives.
- Excellent analytical abilities and proficiency in working with large datasets.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with carbon accounting software and sustainability reporting platforms.
- Background in supply chain sustainability or corporate climate strategy.
- Familiarity with Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and net-zero frameworks.
- Certification in carbon accounting or related fields is a plus.
