Join our team as an Oracle DBA III, where you'll play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our database systems. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex database configurations and contribute to strategic planning and architecture.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level technical support and manage database issues and changes.
- Analyze and resolve complex database configurations and performance issues.
- Install, configure, and customize databases, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Contribute to strategic planning and database architecture design.
- Participate in project activities and offer technical assistance as needed.
- Adapt to our organizational culture and support system management practices.
Skills
- Extensive experience with Oracle RDBMS installation and configuration.
- Proficiency in database monitoring, tuning, and security management.
- Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Clusterware administration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under guidance to achieve objectives.
- Excellent communication skills tailored for diverse audiences.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AIX/Linux systems, Unix, networking, and storage.
- Intermediate to advanced scripting and automation skills for Oracle functions.
- Familiarity with Ansible and Windows Operating Systems.
