We are seeking a motivated IT Portfolio Manager to join our dynamic team, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing our technology portfolio. This position offers a unique opportunity to drive strategic initiatives and enhance operational efficiency across various lines of business.
Responsibilities
- Manage and evolve the multi-year technology portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and enterprise strategy.
- Drive prioritization and investment planning, balancing value, risk, and resource capacity.
- Support business leaders in translating strategy into actionable technology roadmaps.
- Establish governance frameworks to ensure transparency and accountability across initiatives.
- Define and track key performance indicators to measure portfolio performance and business impact.
- Serve as a strategic liaison across various teams, facilitating executive-level discussions on priorities and investment decisions.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- 5-8 years of experience in managing technology projects within the insurance or financial services sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly to stakeholders.
- Proficiency in tools such as Jira and MS Office 360.
Preferred Skills
- Experience as a product owner or business analyst.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies, particularly in AI and data platforms.
- Strong interest in technology innovation and efficiency optimization.
- Ability to create executive-level visualizations from data.
