Join a dynamic team as an Application Architect, where you'll lead the charge in revolutionizing inpatient virtual care platforms with cutting-edge technology and strategic vision. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of digital health solutions, ensuring seamless integration and high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement architecture strategies for inpatient video and telehealth platforms.
- Design comprehensive integrations across electronic health records (EHR), identity and access management (IAM), scheduling, patient engagement, and clinical systems.
- Establish and maintain interoperability standards, including HL7, FHIR, and APIs.
- Evaluate vendor solutions to ensure they meet scalability, security, and architectural requirements.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and cybersecurity standards.
- Define device and edge architecture for bedside technology, including tablets and AV equipment.
- Align solutions across cloud and on-prem environments with high availability and disaster recovery strategies.
- Lead architecture governance, standards, and documentation efforts.
- Collaborate with clinical, IT, and product teams to translate needs into scalable solutions.
Skills
- Extensive experience in healthcare IT, with a focus on architecture roles.
- Proven track record in designing and integrating enterprise SaaS platforms within regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of HL7, FHIR, APIs, and integration patterns.
- Expertise in identity management and healthcare security frameworks.
- In-depth knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with telehealth or virtual care platforms, particularly in inpatient settings.
- Familiarity with major EHR platforms such as Epic and Cerner/Oracle Health.
- Cloud architecture experience with platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Certifications in TOGAF, cloud, or healthcare informatics.
- Experience with clinical devices or IoT ecosystems.
