Join our agile team as a Technical Product Owner, where you'll lead the charge in developing innovative data and analytics solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to transform complex business needs into strategic actions, driving impactful results.
Responsibilities
- Manage and refine the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate data and reporting requirements.
- Lead discussions to understand analytics needs and prioritize delivery based on business value.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies to promote clarity and continuous improvement.
- Ensure data products meet quality standards and align with acceptance criteria before release.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on team progress and challenges.
Skills
- Strong technical expertise in data product and business intelligence solution delivery.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data transformation techniques.
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while effectively prioritizing commitments.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in large, matrixed organizations with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Background in data governance, quality, and metadata management.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and version control for data pipelines.
- Insurance industry experience, particularly with Disability, FMLA, and Life products.
