Join our team as a Quality Assurance Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the excellence of our software applications through meticulous testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams. This position offers a dynamic environment to enhance your skills in both manual and automated testing.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans and scripts based on technical specifications.
- Conduct manual and automated testing to identify and resolve software defects.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure product quality and performance.
- Analyze system specifications to assess testability and provide feedback.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings to contribute insights on testing processes.
- Document and report test results to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in QA engineering or similar roles within software development.
- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software development best practices.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for collaborative teamwork.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Azure Load Resource.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or .NET for automated test scripts.
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
