Responsibilities
- Design and implement applications tailored to project needs using Java and Kotlin.
- Manage Kafka implementation for efficient data streaming and processing functionalities.
- Create and maintain REST APIs to enhance integration and system interoperability.
- Utilize Oracle Exadata, PostgreSQL, and Cassandra for superior database management.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to boost system performance and user interaction quality.
- Play an integral role in code reviews to uphold high coding standards.
- Quickly acclimate to old systems, contributing valuable solutions with minimal oversight.
Skills
- Extensive software development experience with an emphasis on Java and Kotlin.
- Proficient in implementing and managing Kafka infrastructures.
- Solid comprehension of RESTful API design and development principles.
- Expertise in handling database systems, chiefly Oracle and PostgreSQL.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork capabilities.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to overcoming challenges.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of RocksDB and modular monorepo structure.
- Experience crafting solutions within framework-free codebases.
- Willingness to work onsite a couple of days a week to enhance team synergy.
