We are in search of an AI & Data Semantics Lead to become a pivotal link between cutting-edge AI teams and business stakeholders. This remote role focuses on transforming intricate data into clear semantic assets that AI models can effectively utilize.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with AI teams to define and document business meanings for data assets used in various workflows.
- Translate complex business concepts into structured, semantic artifacts for AI consumption.
- Lead discovery sessions to gather domain knowledge and create reusable semantic assets.
- Develop and maintain business glossaries, taxonomies, and frameworks within data catalog environments.
- Align semantic definitions with data products and ensure metadata is complete and trustworthy.
Skills
- Over 7 years of experience in business or data analysis or data product roles.
- Hands-on experience with data catalog or metadata management platforms.
- Proficiency in building business glossaries, taxonomies, and semantic layers or data models.
- Ability to translate technical data into business language effectively.
- Strong skills in facilitation, documentation, and communication with stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience partnering with data engineering, analytics, and AI/ML teams.
- Experience curating and enriching technical assets with business context.
- In-depth understanding of AI-ready metadata and semantic modeling standards.
