Responsibilities

• Implement and enhance information security policies and standards across the organization.
• Conduct ongoing operational activities to ensure data protection, confidentiality, and availability through robust security controls.
• Ensure compliance with established security policies and standards, addressing vulnerabilities effectively.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to address security issues and introduce new technologies.
• Use monitoring tools to detect and report on security threats, ensuring prompt escalation of critical issues.
• Assist in internal and external security assessments, including risk analysis and vulnerability testing.
• Prepare detailed reports on security matters for vendor assessments and risk management purposes.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of three years' experience in IT-related fields, such as networking or system administration.
• Proficient understanding of information security concepts and network/system access technologies.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts in layman's terms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the financial services sector or similarly regulated industries.
• Knowledge of security assurance testing and compliance monitoring.
• Experience in vendor compliance assessment and risk management reporting.
