Join our dynamic team as an Information Security Analyst, where you'll play a crucial role in safeguarding sensitive data and enhancing system security in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
Responsibilities
- Implement and enhance information security policies and standards across the organization.
- Conduct ongoing operational activities to ensure data protection, confidentiality, and availability through robust security controls.
- Ensure compliance with established security policies and standards, addressing vulnerabilities effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to address security issues and introduce new technologies.
- Use monitoring tools to detect and report on security threats, ensuring prompt escalation of critical issues.
- Assist in internal and external security assessments, including risk analysis and vulnerability testing.
- Prepare detailed reports on security matters for vendor assessments and risk management purposes.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of three years' experience in IT-related fields, such as networking or system administration.
- Proficient understanding of information security concepts and network/system access technologies.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts in layman's terms.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the financial services sector or similarly regulated industries.
- Knowledge of security assurance testing and compliance monitoring.
- Experience in vendor compliance assessment and risk management reporting.
