We are seeking a creative and motivated Sr. UX Designer passionate about crafting exceptional user experiences for a widely cherished reading product. This is a unique 5-month contract opportunity to influence millions of readers' interactions with both apps and eReaders to shape the future of reading experiences.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer insights into intuitive, user-centric design solutions
• Refine prototypes and design concepts to create ready-to-implement deliverables
• Develop high-quality UX artifacts such as wireframes and interaction specifications in Figma
• Collaborate with product, engineering, research, and UX teams to align designs with the product vision
• Apply systems thinking to ensure scalability of design solutions across the product ecosystem

Skills

• Over 8 years of UX design experience in dynamic, customer-focused environments
• Expert proficiency in Figma
• Proven experience in mobile app and interaction design
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey design decisions
• Ability to work independently, managing tasks with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to navigate ambiguous and fast-paced environments

Preferred Skills

• Experience with apps related to consumer, reading, or media
• Familiarity with AI tools to enhance design workflows
