Responsibilities
- Lead full stack application development within cloud-native and hybrid systems, focusing on secure, scalable solutions.
- Architect and deploy robust APIs, ensuring strong security measures and comprehensive logging frameworks.
- Create visually engaging UI components utilizing frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Oversee AWS infrastructure and manage CI/CD pipelines, emphasizing seamless operations.
- Ensure smooth production environment operations, including change management processes.
- Collaborate with product and business teams to shape requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Engage with vendors for system integration, troubleshooting, and feature enhancements.
- Identify automation opportunities to enhance efficiency within the team.
Skills
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 3 years in a leadership position.
- Proficiency in full stack development with JavaScript (React/Angular), Node.js, Java/.NET/Python, and SQL.
- In-depth expertise in AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, and API gateway.
- Competence in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Github Actions, and Terraform.
- Strong capabilities in API development and system integration.
- Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or Selenium.
Preferred Skills
- Background in Asset Management, Investment Banking, or Wealth Management sectors.
- Understanding of front office platform workflows, including OMS, PMS, and risk engines.
- Knowledge of ETF platforms and comprehensive fund lifecycle processes.
- Familiarity with Snowflake, event-driven architectures, and regulatory reporting systems.
