We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Revenue Accountant to join our dynamic team. This temporary contract position offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to our Revenue team while honing your skills in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute monthly accounting activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate and audit-ready SOX control workbooks, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare summaries for significant transactions in accordance with ASC 606.
- Assist in forecasting collections and managing accounts receivable.
- Support the preparation of quarterly AR and Revenue Footnotes, ensuring alignment with the general ledger.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new product implementations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance the Order-to-Cash cycle and address billing challenges.
- Engage in process improvement initiatives and assist with ad-hoc projects as needed.
Skills
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable or Revenue Accounting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and SOX compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in NetSuite and advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and data management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and manage deliverables in a rapidly changing environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in collections and analytical skills in Accounts Receivable.
- Proven capability in preparing SOX control workpapers for audit review.
- A continuous improvement mindset with strong collaboration skills.
