Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of IT Support Specialists to deliver outstanding technology support.
- Guide and mentor team members to enhance their performance and professional growth.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and implementing strategies for improvement.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on support strategies and training programs.
- Present project updates and status reports to leadership regularly.
- Ensure systems are maintained according to industry standards and security protocols.
- Manage asset refresh programs and oversee software licensing processes.
- Provide comprehensive technical support across diverse systems and networks.
Skills
- Minimum of five years of management experience paired with a solid technical foundation.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills and a strong background in customer service.
- Ability to manage and support various operating environments including Windows and macOS.
- Strong analytical skills coupled with effective problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Industry certifications related to IT support and management are advantageous.
- Experience with audio-visual technologies in educational settings.
- Flexibility to adapt to a varied schedule, which may include nights and weekends.
- In-depth knowledge of platforms used in higher education such as Microsoft 365 and Google Suite.
