Responsibilities

• Develop and implement automated technical solutions within the Banner ERP system, focusing on the student module.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure data consistency across systems, adapting to changes and updating processes as needed.
• Create and maintain scripts using PL/SQL and Shell/Bash to support Oracle database interactions.
• Assist in designing and architecting technical solutions, ensuring optimal performance and integration.
• Perform maintenance and customizations for Banner processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop for Banner admin pages using Groovy on Grails when required.
• Maintain version control and code integrity through Git.

Skills

• Proficient in Ellucian Banner ERP, particularly within the Student module domain.
• Strong understanding of Oracle databases and experience in PL/SQL development.
• Competent in Shell/Bash scripting and Java-based development environments like Eclipse IDE.
• Adept at transforming functional requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage timelines effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with developing Banner Admin Pages and an understanding of Groovy on Grails.
• Contributions to technical design and solution architecture in past roles.
• Experience implementing custom triggers or process automations within Banner systems.
