We're seeking a skilled Shopify Architect/Lead Developer to spearhead the development of cutting-edge, high-performance ecommerce solutions. This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment while advancing your expertise in a leading-edge technology.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of Shopify Hydrogen ecommerce storefronts.
- Establish and uphold frontend standards and best practices for headless Shopify implementations.
- Make pivotal architectural decisions focused on performance, scalability, and sustainability.
- Mentor junior developers and facilitate knowledge sharing through code reviews and pair programming.
- Coordinate sprint planning and project delivery timelines to ensure successful project milestones.
- Partner with UI/UX designers to translate designs into efficient, high-performance user interfaces.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product roadmap development and execution.
- Support QA processes, deployment, and production troubleshooting to ensure seamless operations.
Skills
- Proven experience in Shopify development with a strong grounding in Shopify Hydrogen.
- Expertise in React and TypeScript, focusing on SSR and modern web performance.
- Strong capability in handling Shopify Storefront APIs and integrations with backend services.
- Ability to lead and mentor development teams with a focus on delivering high-quality products.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in converting Liquid themes into Hydrogen.
- Understanding of Shopify Plus features and workflow processes.
- Familiarity with headless commerce architectures and related Shopify services.
- Background in CMS integrations, ecommerce optimization, and analytics tools.
