We are seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing in Data Center Design Engineering to oversee critical projects. This role offers an opportunity to lead design engineering services during the construction phase, ensuring design integrity and seamless coordination among teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage design engineering services during the construction phase, focusing on technical reviews and compliance.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design adherence and resolve critical construction issues.
- Facilitate technical discussions and coordinate with design teams to meet project milestones.
- Maintain comprehensive design documentation and oversee project closeout procedures.
- Proactively identify and address design-related risks while ensuring timely resolution of construction challenges.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in managing the data center design lifecycle from concept to completion.
- Strong understanding of construction administration processes and documentation.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with construction management software, such as Procore and Smartsheet.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
- Quantifiable success metrics in project delivery and risk management.
- Experience in strategic decision-making and team development.
