Responsibilities
- Manage the ordering of hardware and software across multiple locations within the southeast region.
- Engage with IT vendors to efficiently submit and track orders, ensuring smooth operation processes.
- Collaborate with team members to adhere to established procurement processes and address any queries.
- Support the resolution of customer service issues related to IT procurement, ensuring swift and effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate tracking of software licenses and ensure compliance with prevailing standards.
- Participate in federal reserve workgroups as an IT procurement representative when needed.
Skills
- Proven experience in ordering and managing IT hardware and software.
- Strong critical thinking skills to effectively solve problems and ask insightful questions.
- Excellent communication skills for clear and concise interactions with various stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt and follow procurement processes meticulously.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Service Now and Arriba systems is a plus.
- Experience in interacting with and managing IT vendors is advantageous.
- Ability to think creatively and provide innovative solutions to procurement challenges.
