Are you passionate about fashion and have a keen eye for detail? Join our team as a Technical Designer where you'll lead the technical design process for women's woven garments, contributing to the creative vision while ensuring top-notch quality and the perfect fit.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design process from development to final fitting for women's woven dresses and skirts.
- Analyze and evaluate garments to create precise fit specifications that meet quality and cost requirements.
- Develop and communicate technical specifications and fit guidelines to vendors/factories.
- Monitor the maintenance of design integrity while overseeing quality and pricing targets.
- Provide guidance to Assistant Technical Designers under the supervision of the Technical Services Manager.
Skills
- Strong experience in technical design, especially in women's woven apparel.
- Proficient in pattern-making and fit analysis.
- Excellent communication skills for effective vendor collaboration.
- Ability to drive projects independently while maintaining high standards and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Optitex, CLO, and Centric PLM software.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion or equivalent experience preferred.
