Join us as a Cloud Systems Engineer where you'll drive innovation and efficiency in cloud infrastructure, contributing to the growth and maintenance of advanced systems both in the cloud and on-premises. Responsibilities
- Design and automate infrastructure configurations to enhance provisioning and deployment processes.
- Maintain and secure complex cloud environments on platforms such as Oracle and Azure.
- Support system upgrades and improvements to ensure optimized performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend and design systems architecture.
- Participate in on-call rotations to offer expert support for complex systems and applications.
Skills
- Proven experience in managing Linux and Windows servers across Bare Metal, ESX, and Cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of Windows/Linux fundamentals, including system logs and debugging tools.
- Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware ESX/ESXi and Vcenter.
- Proficiency with public cloud platforms and automation technologies, such as Chef and Terraform.
- Ability to script using languages like Bash, Python, Ruby, or Perl.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with warehouse automation technologies and real-time systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Nagios or New-Relic, and streaming services like Kafka.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and Linux Containers.
