We are looking for a Sr. Power Platform Developer to lead the modernization of legacy SharePoint Online solutions into scalable, Dataverse-backed Power Platform applications. This is hands-on, end-to-end development (architecture, data modeling, migration, automation, reporting) plus ongoing SharePoint site support. Work directly with senior economists, attorneys, and policy staff to design mission-critical business process solutions.
Responsibilities
- Drive the creation of new applications by migrating existing systems to Dataverse-backed Power Platform applications.
- Evaluate and redefine historical SharePoint solutions to build sustainable data models.
- Design and execute data migration strategies, ensuring robust data quality and integrity.
- Enhance business efficiency by integrating automated workflows into current processes.
- Manage and support ongoing SharePoint Online operations alongside modernization efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine technical requirements and support application testing and rollout.
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Power Platform with a focus on Dataverse, demonstrating practical application development experience.
- Skilled in upgrading SharePoint environments to incorporate Power Apps and workflow improvements.
- Strong data modeling abilities to create logical and efficient application structures.
- Adept in solving intricate application challenges through effective troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
- Ability to partner with diverse stakeholders to extract and define technical needs efficiently.
Preferred Skills
- Experience developing canvas apps and model-driven apps.
- Knowledgeable in the lifecycle management of Power Platform applications.
- Experience working within a U.S. federal government environment.
- Experience supporting testing efforts, including UAT coordination and defect remediation.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 integration patterns (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint).
This role requires an onsite presence during training for the first 6-8 weeks. There will be an option for telework after successful onboarding & training.
