Responsibilities
- Craft efficient software solutions using languages like Java, C#, Python, and .Net.
- Upgrade current applications and transition them smoothly into AWS cloud environments.
- Design serverless architecture patterns for streamlined application deployment.
- Work in harmony with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless API connectivity.
- Engage in Agile methodologies, enhancing development practices through planning and retrospectives.
- Monitor and analyze system metrics to drive performance improvements effectively.
- Participate actively in code reviews and promote top-notch software craftsmanship.
- Provide essential 24/7 on-call support and assist team members when troubleshooting or conducting maintenance.
Skills
- Over seven years of experience in IT with a strong background in software development.
- Solid knowledge of web services, APIs, and microservices architectures.
- Proficient in AWS cloud services and adept at application development.
- Experience in high-availability and disaster recovery patterns.
- Excellent communication skills and a propensity for teamwork.
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration/Deployment practices.
- Proven experience in boosting software performance and optimizing system reliability.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and active participation in Agile ceremonies.
