Join our team as a Kafka Subject Matter Expert (SME) where you will lead integration solutions, ensuring reliability and security while working closely with technical teams. This is your chance to impact real-time data exchanges and mentor others in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain Kafka-powered integration solutions for effective data exchanges in real-time and batch forms.
- Manage interfaces between Kafka and third-party systems, maintaining a focus on reliability and security.
- Collaborate with teams to enable seamless Kafka-Endur integration, utilizing your understanding of data structures and patterns.
- Optimize the performance and troubleshoot issues within Kafka systems to ensure smooth operation.
- Participate with architectural teams to establish best practices in data streaming and integration.
- Offer technical guidance and mentorship on projects centered around Kafka.
Skills
- Extensive experience with Apache Kafka, including cluster management and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in integrating third-party systems with Kafka, especially with an understanding of Endur data tables.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and expertise in data streaming and messaging systems.
- Proficient in programming languages like Java or Python for developing Kafka clients.
- Familiarity with schema management tools like Avro or Protobuf and Kafka Streams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud-based Kafka solutions such as AWS MSK or Confluent Cloud.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices specific to Kafka deployments.
- An understanding of energy trading systems and their integration patterns.
