We are seeking a talented Lead Data Scientist to join our dynamic team! This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in statistical analysis and machine learning while working on impactful projects in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Utilize statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to derive insights from complex datasets.
- Develop and implement data modeling and visualization strategies to enhance decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve existing algorithms and pipelines.
- Conduct end-to-end testing of algorithms and work closely with the MLOps team for deployment.
- Gather and preprocess data to ensure quality and relevance for analysis.
- Communicate data-driven stories effectively to stakeholders to influence strategic decisions.
Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL for statistical analysis and machine learning.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and visualization techniques.
- Experience with big data technologies, including Hadoop and Spark.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to measure impact and convey insights through storytelling.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with recommender system frameworks and customer sequence modeling.
- Experience in hyperparameter tuning and building offline models.
- Knowledge of real-time data processing and online inference paths.
- Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
