Join our dynamic team as an Infrastructure Engineer, where you’ll leverage cutting-edge technologies to build robust cloud platforms. This remote role offers an exciting opportunity to shape data services for financial institutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions, with a strong focus on Terraform.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support analytics systems development.
- Optimize data processing workloads to enhance performance and reliability.
- Automate system architectures and processes using scripting languages like Python.
- Consult with business units to align technical solutions with strategic goals.
Skills
- Strong proficiency in Terraform and infrastructure engineering.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, AWS GovCloud, and APIs.
- Familiarity with DataMesh concepts and cloud database management.
- Solid understanding of data modeling and data governance in relational databases.
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with databases like AWS RDS, DynamoDB, and Databricks Lakehouse.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL/ELT tools such as Talend or Informatica.
- Exposure to distributed technologies like Spark, Kafka, or Hadoop.
- Agile methodologies experience and cloud certifications are a plus.
