Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee strategies to mitigate risks across networks, operating systems, and applications.
- Monitor and document vulnerabilities, evaluating program effectiveness through mitigation efforts.
- Establish and uphold policies, procedures, and training focused on vulnerability management.
- Employ vulnerability scanning tools to strengthen security measures, providing valuable insights to teams.
- Advise on best practices for vulnerability remediation, collaborating with security partners to support application teams.
- Demonstrate leadership by effectively setting goals, assessing tasks, and aligning team dynamics.
Skills
- Expertise in managing and analyzing vulnerabilities.
- Strong foundation in cyber security concepts and implementation.
- Proficiency in project management with an emphasis on quality and resource allocation.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Experience utilizing vulnerability scanning tools, like Qualys.
- Knowledge of risk management frameworks and strategies.
- Capable of independent work while efficiently sharing best practices.
