Join a talented team as an AWS Cloud Engineer, where you'll lead innovative cloud migration projects and collaborate with dynamic professionals. This 15-month contract opportunity offers a chance to make a significant impact in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor team members while guiding technical direction in a friendly and collaborative setting.
- Develop and implement new products and processes to meet business objectives.
- Troubleshoot issues by documenting, analyzing, and providing effective solutions.
- Manage the implementation of cloud services and integrations with internal applications.
- Conduct research and evaluate emerging technologies to improve current systems.
- Ensure compliance with security policies throughout the development process.
Skills
- Proficiency in application development languages and frameworks, especially TypeScript and PostgreSQL.
- Extensive experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud-native services.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD practices using GitLab.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as React and Node.js.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest.
- Creative problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
