We are seeking a talented Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies while contributing to impactful data-driven projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with various departments to ensure coordinated efforts.
- Communicate efficiently with ETL architects to understand requirements and business processes for data transformation.
- Assist in the architecture of ETL design and provide proactive inputs for implementation and automation.
- Investigate data issues within ETL pipelines, notify end-users, and propose appropriate solutions.
- Develop ETL pipelines and data flows utilizing Azure Data Factory and Snowflake toolsets.
- Optimize data movement processes and ensure efficient data management practices.
- Conduct thorough testing of ETL systems, data designs, and pipelines while resolving production issues.
- Document implementations and build necessary deployment documents for CI/CD processes.
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on data warehousing.
- 2+ years of experience creating pipelines in Azure Data Factory.
- Proficiency in developing ETL processes using tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, SSIS, or similar.
- Strong background in relational databases, including Oracle, Snowflake, and SQL Server.
- Experience in creating stored procedures using Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Server T-SQL, or Snowflake SQL.
- Familiarity with source control systems like GitHub or SVN.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot data pipelines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with batch or PowerShell scripting.
- Knowledge of Python scripting.
- Data modeling experience within a data warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services for Data Integration.
- Experience in designing and building APIs in Snowflake and Azure Data Factory.
- Background in healthcare applications, particularly related to Medicaid and Medicare.
