Join our team as a Junior Database Developer, where you will play a key role in enhancing and maintaining our financial reporting database applications. This is a great opportunity for you to grow your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain internal database applications for financial reporting.
- Implement enhancements and automate reporting needs to optimize processes.
- Ensure successful data warehouse operations and create control processes.
- Produce both automated and ad hoc reports to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to translate requirements into solutions.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 database application support.
Skills
- Proficiency in Oracle databases, including SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience with Linux OS and shell scripting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Mention your detail-oriented nature and comprehensive approach to tasks.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with scheduling tools like ESP or Stone branch UAC.
- Knowledge of MS-Access and Python could be beneficial.
- Insights into life products and managing multiple projects effectively.
