Join a dynamic team as a Color Mastering Specialist, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the visual accuracy and consistency of materials used in premium products. This exciting position bridges the gap between design vision and manufacturing, making sure every detail shines through with precision.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the color mastering process from design hand-off to production sign-off for all A-surface materials.
- Lead reviews of physical samples, ensuring alignment of paint, plastics, and soft materials.
- Establish and maintain master color and finish standards, creating a library of approved finishes for reference.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve color and visual quality issues swiftly.
- Support the exploration of new color technologies and material innovation alongside R&D.
Skills
- Master’s degree in CMF Design or related fields such as Industrial Design or Materials Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in color development, material specification, or similar areas.
- Exceptional sensitivity to visual aspects such as color, gloss, texture, under various lighting conditions.
- Strong communication skills for leading reviews and negotiating with suppliers effectively.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in automotive, powersports, or consumer products with a focus on color quality.
- Understanding of color matching processes and manufacturing tolerances.
- Familiarity with visual evaluation tools like gloss meters and spectrophotometers.
