We are seeking an experienced Data Quality Engineering and Operations Manager to lead the development and management of enterprise data quality initiatives. This fully remote position offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team focused on enhancing data governance and quality across various platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of data quality strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Define and monitor key metrics for data quality, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
- Translate business requirements into actionable data quality rules and thresholds.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of data quality, including issue resolution and monitoring.
- Establish standards for critical data elements used in decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate data quality trends and risks.
- Manage and mentor a team of Data Quality Engineers to foster professional growth.
Skills
- 7+ years of experience in data management, analytics, or related fields with a focus on data quality.
- Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing data or analytics platforms.
- Hands-on experience with data observability platforms such as Monte Carlo.
- Strong understanding of data quality dimensions across various use cases.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Experience within a formal Data Governance organization.
- Familiarity with concepts of data observability and anomaly detection.
- Background in supporting AI/ML or advanced analytics initiatives.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
