Join our dynamic team in Montvale, NJ, as an Application Support Manager where you'll lead the operation of cutting-edge Azure-based applications. Drive operational excellence in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of the Application Support team, ensuring efficient problem triage and resolution processes.
- Serve as the main contact for complex issues, providing hands-on troubleshooting and in-depth root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with vendors and technical teams to enhance Azure performance and manage release cycles.
- Analyze performance data and logs to ensure consistent application uptime and SLA compliance.
- Foster communication across various departments to maintain service reliability.
- Advocate for ITIL best practices and drive continuous process improvements.
- Prepare and present operational insights and performance metrics to leadership.
Skills
- Minimum of 6 years in application support or technical service management, with 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proficient understanding of Microsoft Azure architecture and operational tools, .NET/C#, SQL Server, and Windows-based systems.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams effectively.
- Experience in managing offshore support teams and global operations coordination.
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow and ITIL-based processes.
- Ability to interpret system performance data and write SQL queries.
