We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing data processes and ensuring efficient data management within our operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanisms for retrieving and aggregating operational data from the AWS fleet.
• Enhance the performance of data queries and streamline extract, transform, load (ETL) procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to migrate data from external clusters to internal systems.
• Conduct deep dives to identify and resolve data anomalies.
• Utilize AWS technologies to support data management and reporting needs.

Skills

• Proficiency in AWS services such as Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, and Lambda.
• Strong understanding of operational data management and data aggregation techniques.
• Experience in optimizing ETL processes and data queries.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
• Experience with non-relational databases and data stores.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement solutions for data issues.
