JOB DESCRIPTION
Provide project management, leadership and coordination for reporting redesign and remediation resulting from technology implementation or other project work streams. Responsible for overall project scope, schedule, and risk management.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Drive requirements gathering and planning process for approved projects while engaging all key stakeholders. Lead development of a solution design that defines the entire project scope, and secure all required internal and external approvals. Ensure coordination with other initiatives, assuring dependencies are identified and addressed. Define deliverables and required delivery dates. Develop viable work plans/work breakdown structure, budgets, milestone schedules, and project cost/benefit estimates leveraging standard waterfall and AGILE processes.
- Project Management: Independently define and manage project plans to approved scope and schedule on smaller projects and contribute to larger projects. Provide tracking of large project plans. Identify plan gaps, then develop and execute closure plans. Ensure compliance with company governance and compliance processes. Prepare status reports, timelines, budgets, and other documentation as guided by project or program manager. Ensure the successful completion of assigned project deliverables & milestones in a dynamic and complex environment.
- Resource Management: Manage internal and external project resources. Influence with and without authority. Manage assigned contracts and associated payments and performance requirements. Manage a comprehensive resource plan for a matrixed team of diverse talent to maximize skills and minimize cost.
- Scope & Risk Management: Manage project scope, business expectations and change process. Proactively identify risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle steps and assist in definition and execution of mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Relationship Management: Communicate project status to all levels of the organization. Convey complex techincal concepts to non-technical audiences. Establish effective, collaborative working relationships to maximize project efficiency, responsiveness and resource allocation.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience to the position.
- Minimum 7 years work experience in operations, technology, finance, or comparable function; utility experience preferred
- 3 -5 years’ experience in project management and process improvement; some formal project management training preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills; excellent written/verbal communications skills required
- Understanding of core business processes/ industry trends with ability to understand/apply ongoing changes
- Knowledge of project planning and business need justification process and methodology
- Ability to adapt to change quickly and work within a diverse, cross-functional team environment
- Prefer experience with one of many of the following systems: SAP S/4 Hana, SAP ECC, SAP Hana Sidecar, Business Objects
- Prefer experience with other SAP implementation or reporting projects

This is not a guarantee of compensation, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
