Join a dynamic team as a Key Management Engineer, where you'll design and manage cryptographic key solutions across diverse environments. This remote role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge security technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cryptographic key management architectures focusing on both symmetric and asymmetric keys.
- Manage the lifecycle of cryptographic keys from creation through retirement, ensuring security and compliance.
- Deploy and secure keys across applications, databases, and cloud environments, adhering to industry standards.
- Integrate key management solutions into existing systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams for comprehensive security.
- Configure and manage Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) to ensure secure key storage and operations.
- Develop automation scripts using Java and Python to streamline key management processes.
- Document procedures and policies to enhance operational efficiency and knowledge sharing.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits of cryptographic systems to maintain compliance with best practices.
Skills
- Proven experience in designing and implementing key management solutions with a focus on cryptography.
- Strong understanding of key lifecycle management processes and secure key deployment.
- Experience with cloud-based key management tools like AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault, and Google Cloud Key Management Service.
- Basic development skills in Java and Python for scripting and automation.
- Excellent documentation skills for creating comprehensive technical documents.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in complex security environments.
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Experience with security operations tools and best practices.
- Familiarity with security standards and frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001.
