We are seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to join our dynamic team, focusing on new product development initiatives in the medical device industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive project execution and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of project activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and milestones.
- Coordinate vendor activities and manage material procurement to support project needs.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, task plans, and status reports.
- Identify and resolve project issues by analyzing root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders, highlighting progress and risks.
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams to achieve project goals.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, or related discipline).
- 3-5 years of experience in engineering or product development projects within a regulated environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interface with cross-functional teams and vendors.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project or Smartsheet.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the medical device industry and knowledge of FDA QSR, ISO 13485, and design control processes.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments.
- Experience coordinating external vendors or contractors and managing delivery timelines.
