Responsibilities

• Design and maintain platform services and tools to enhance machine learning workflows.
• Develop and manage cloud-native infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform to support machine learning initiatives.
• Create APIs and backend services to streamline MLOps workflows and ensure standardization.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to facilitate effective and repeatable machine learning processes.
• Troubleshoot operational issues, focusing on automation and long-lasting solutions.
• Document technical details of platform capabilities and provide usage guidelines.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, including compute and storage services.
• Extensive experience in software engineering with a focus on platform and backend systems.
• Strong understanding of MLOps workflows and best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with managed machine learning platforms like Vertex AI.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker.
• Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
