Join our team as a ServiceNow CMDB Administrator, Senior, where you'll play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing our Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to ensure accurate and reliable data for IT service management. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with diverse IT teams and drive improvements in data management processes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of the CMDB, ensuring reliable data for IT service management processes.
- Lead the implementation of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and manage processes related to Asset and Configuration Management.
- Analyze CMDB data to identify trends and areas for improvement, designing automated processes for data management.
- Develop and document procedures for data collection, validation, and maintenance to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data accuracy and resolve configuration-related issues.
- Generate regular reports on key performance metrics and compliance with industry standards.
- Provide training and support to IT staff on CMDB processes and tools.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT Service Management, focusing on CMDB management and ITIL processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in CMDB tools and software, with knowledge of Agile Methodology and DevOps.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across teams.
Preferred Skills
- ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.
- Experience with ServiceNow and related ITSM tools.
- Ability to mentor and guide team members on CMDB best practices.
