We are seeking a dedicated Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the security of our medical devices, working closely with product teams to develop and maintain security documentation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with medical device product teams to create security deliverables and documentation.
- Develop and update Software Bill of Materials (SBOMs) for products.
- Conduct threat modeling for medical devices to assess risks and identify mitigations.
- Review and interpret vulnerabilities and penetration testing results.
- Document risk assessments and recommend security risk mitigations.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as cybersecurity, computer science, or software engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in a cybersecurity-related role.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and effective communication skills.
- Experience with threat modeling tools and vulnerability monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with security standards and methodologies, including CVSS scoring.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with software development and security best practices.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical devices.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with FDA Pre and Post-market guidance.
