JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our dynamic team as a Sr. Systems Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in designing and optimizing enterprise storage solutions. This remote position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement storage platforms to enhance business-critical systems.
  • Configure and manage Cisco SAN fabric infrastructure, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Monitor and optimize storage performance and capacity, addressing issues proactively.
  • Conduct data migrations, firmware updates, and manage the storage lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with various teams to integrate storage solutions with server environments.
  • Develop and maintain data protection and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Analyze and resolve complex storage-related incidents, conducting root cause analysis.
  • Document technical standards and operational procedures.

Skills

  • Proven experience with enterprise storage systems in a Dell environment.
  • Hands-on expertise in managing Cisco SAN fabrics and Fibre Channel concepts.
  • Strong understanding of SAN/NAS technologies and their applications.
  • Skilled in storage performance tuning and capacity planning.
  • Familiarity with virtualization platforms like VMware.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud migration initiatives, especially to AWS.
  • Knowledge of advanced data protection and replication solutions.
