JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to design and develop robust, scalable software solutions.
  • Engage in pair programming and contribute throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Implement test-driven development practices to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Utilize diverse programming languages and frameworks, such as Python, Groovy, and Java.
  • Assist in the creation of user interfaces using ReactJS and other tools as necessary.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards of code quality.
  • Leverage open-source software and tools to improve development efficiency.

Skills

  • Proven expertise in building distributed systems and developing services using REST and HTTP.
  • Strong grasp of test-driven development, paired programming, and agile methodologies.
  • Experience with modern deployment, CI/CD, and configuration management tools.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and communicate results clearly.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Ruby, Perl, or Python.
  • Experience with networking, security, and infrastructure components.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks beyond ReactJS.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to addressing challenges.
