Responsibilities
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire documentation, policy acknowledgments, and termination meetings.
- Administer employee benefits enrollment and changes; maintain accurate data entry in carrier systems and HRIS.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions regarding benefits, forms, and HR processes.
- Maintain electronic employee records and ensure HR data accuracy and compliance.
- Support HR operations by assisting with audits, verifications, subpoenas, and routine HR projects
- Coordinate employee engagement activities and provide administrative support across departments, including facilities access and safety initiatives.
- Lifting of supplies, files and related materials is required (up to 25 lbs.).
- Ensure all HR activities are performed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in Human Resources or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including word processing, databases, and spreadsheets.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Skills
- HR certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with Federal and State employment laws.
- Experience with Workday HCM or similar HR management systems.
- Project management skills and experience leading orientation sessions.
