JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a motivated Project Manager to oversee construction projects with a focus on operational excellence and effective communication. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely while traveling extensively across the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Manage on-site execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to phasing plans and timelines.
  • Oversee third-party labor teams and maintain effective communication between site operations and senior leadership.
  • Conduct design reviews and coordinate the installation of shelving and other modifications to meet operational needs.
  • Address any issues that arise during night shifts and forecast potential challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards throughout all project phases.
  • Travel extensively to various project sites, primarily Monday through Friday.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying information clearly and effectively.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft products and specialized tools such as Bluebeam and CAD.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions in dynamic environments.
  • Experience with project management in construction or retail settings.

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience working with major retailers or in grocery construction.
  • Financial acumen, with experience in financial analysis preferred.
  • Background in engineering or construction management.
