JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, and implement business and technical IT solutions using software development life cycle methodologies.
  • Collaborate on system upgrades, enhancements, and conversions to optimize performance and functionality.
  • Utilize specialized knowledge to address and resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and technical contexts.
  • Lead the design, development, and support of IT solutions across multiple platforms and technologies.
  • Research and recommend new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Skills

  • Proficiency in mainframe systems and legacy technologies.
  • Strong coding skills, particularly in Natural programming language.
  • Expertise in Adabase database management.
  • Ability to lead projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with custom off-the-shelf systems and niche technologies like eCommerce systems.
  • Knowledge of mobility and TPF in specialty development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
