JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a talented Senior Business Intelligence (Power BI) Developer to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to lead innovative data modeling, visualization, and analytics solutions in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop enterprise-grade Power BI datasets and reports using best practices in data modeling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Optimize DAX queries and T-SQL data pipelines to ensure efficient data processing and reporting.
  • Implement data security protocols and governance standards to maintain compliance and data integrity.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data models and report issues, ensuring continuous improvement of BI solutions.
  • Document data lineage and maintain a robust data catalog for easy access and understanding.

Skills

  • Expertise in Power BI, including strong knowledge of DAX and data modeling techniques.
  • Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL for data warehousing and performance tuning.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven track record in delivering scalable BI solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining data quality and governance standards.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Azure Analytics services, including Synapse and Data Factory.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD practices in BI development.
  • Knowledge of data governance tools and practices.
  • Understanding of Salesforce data models for customer analytics.
  • Advanced skills in performance tuning and optimization of BI assets.
