JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a dynamic team as a Healthcare Contract Negotiator where you'll play a crucial role in fostering relationships and driving successful negotiations with payers. This position offers a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between clients, success managers, and payers, ensuring seamless communication and strategic outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and analyze comprehensive information from clients and payers to inform negotiation strategies.
  • Ensure precision and accuracy in contract documentation and lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate on negotiation strategies and execute them effectively with payers.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with payers to ensure overall account success.
  • Develop and maintain reports on contract statuses and negotiations.
  • Provide administrative support for client and payer-related projects, enhancing process efficiency.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of 3+ years in contract negotiation.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle limited or ambiguous information.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and internet-based research tools.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with managed care organizations, hospital systems, or physician group contracting.
  • High degree of comfort in delivering presentations to various groups.
