Responsibilities
- Process payroll tax-related tasks and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with state agencies and work on tax notices and third-party authorizations.
- Manage multi-state tax experiences and filings efficiently.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Communicate effectively with team members and external vendors to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain attention to detail throughout all payroll processes and documentation.
Skills
- 2-3 years of experience in payroll tax processing.
- Strong understanding of payroll taxes including federal, state, and FICA taxes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage high volumes of work.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with payroll tax filing and related project management.
- Familiarity with testing and quality assurance processes in payroll systems.
- Self-motivated with a consistent approach to tasks and responsibilities.
