JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain efficient backend systems using Java, Kotlin, and JVM-based technologies.
  • Design and implement REST APIs to enhance application functionality.
  • Utilize frameworks like Spring Boot and Quarkus to boost application performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize and troubleshoot systems.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to software development best practices.
  • Engage in continuous learning to improve development processes with new technologies.

Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with web technologies and frameworks, particularly Spring Boot.
  • Solid understanding of version control using Git and CI/CD practices.
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL databases and messaging systems like Apache Kafka.
  • Ability to work effectively in an Agile/SCRUM environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like Azure or OCI.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices, including GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and API management.
  • Experience with Salesforce Development and Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus.
