JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our dynamic team as a Data Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in transforming sustainability workflows through innovative data solutions. This role offers the opportunity to lead critical data migrations and contribute to impactful environmental initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the migration of essential data infrastructure to modern cloud-based systems, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines to support sustainability metrics and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure solutions meet analytical needs.
  • Document new data architecture comprehensively, including dependencies and monitoring strategies.
  • Implement data quality checks and alerting systems to proactively address potential issues.

Skills

  • Proven experience in building and maintaining production data pipelines within complex environments.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for optimizing queries and troubleshooting data quality.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS data services such as Redshift, S3, and Glue.
  • Solid understanding of ETL best practices and data validation techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with workflow orchestration platforms is a plus.
  • Background in sustainability data or environmental metrics is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with dashboard development using QuickSight.
  • Experience in setting up monitoring and alerting systems for data pipelines.
