Responsibilities
- Lead the migration of essential data infrastructure to modern cloud-based systems, ensuring seamless operations.
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines to support sustainability metrics and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure solutions meet analytical needs.
- Document new data architecture comprehensively, including dependencies and monitoring strategies.
- Implement data quality checks and alerting systems to proactively address potential issues.
Skills
- Proven experience in building and maintaining production data pipelines within complex environments.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for optimizing queries and troubleshooting data quality.
- Hands-on experience with AWS data services such as Redshift, S3, and Glue.
- Solid understanding of ETL best practices and data validation techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with workflow orchestration platforms is a plus.
- Background in sustainability data or environmental metrics is advantageous.
- Familiarity with dashboard development using QuickSight.
- Experience in setting up monitoring and alerting systems for data pipelines.
