Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of cloud solutions, primarily using Azure, while ensuring security, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Engage with developers to provide technical guidance and support, bridging the gap between engineering and development teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
• Define and promote standards for cloud networking, identity, automation, and security.
• Develop and maintain automation tools and frameworks to enhance cloud adoption and operational efficiency.

Skills

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, including compute, networking, security, and governance.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM, and CloudFormation.
• Strong scripting abilities in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, security models, and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills to influence and collaborate with developers and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with compliance requirements such as SOX, SOC2, and FINRA.
• Strong technical documentation and presentation skills.
